Hi guys I have a prolbem with Microsoft outlook 2010 on windows 7. Outlooks hangs/freeze randomly 2/5 times per day with no reason. I put outlook in safe mode and the same thing happened. I deactivated by the msconfig, the startup items ( not microsoft). I discovered on the event logs, I have multiple licensing check status every 10mn (source: office software protection platform service) After this outlook hang.

For the record, it is, using a MAK key. I found a Microsoft site with some attempt at clarification, however the error code 0xC004F014 just says that the key is unavailable.

Using the VAMT tool I have activated and verified both Windows 7 and Office 2010. Using SLMGR.vbs I have also confirmed Windows is genuine. How can I stop these events?!?! Look into task manager on a few of the machines, see if you can find an if or what is calling for the process to run. You can also drill down inside of windows and activation. Normally this only runs once every 90 days, however it is fully disable-able.

You can also use task manager for a remote machine just like you can for event viewer and computer management. Once you have identified the culprit you could push a GPO if your in a domain or create a batch/vbs to hose the symptoms on a range of pc's if your office (dependent upon the amount of workstations you are managing).
