Codemasters has today released a new patch for IGI 2: Covert Strike. The patch includes a number of bug fixes and the like, and it also features a brand-new multiplayer map in which operatives must infiltrate a Conspiracy base deep in a jungle, turn on its generator, hack into a computer to discover the base's purpose, and then destroy one of the two temple ruins that the Conspiracy has been using as cover.

I hope that day will came soon and the rights for making game shifted from Codemaster to other game company and that company should start making igi 3, 4, 5 and 6 They don't care because its a very old game which only a select amount of people probably still play so its not worth their time and money and like has been said, they only make racing games now.
Fun facts, codemaster have not owned the IGI IP for years. It was bought by Square Enix that recently sold it to Artplant. Artplant is a studio founded by former innerloop people. As in the original creators of IGI 1 & 2. And last week they got support by their local government and film institute to make IGI 3. As they put over 500 000 Euro into it. So it's coming.
